Parents Network: Who We Are
Purpose
- Provide programs that enhance the experience for our students, teachers, and parents.
- Provide a structure where parents can volunteer in support of Netivot.
- Create an atmosphere of friendship within the Netivot community.
Programs
- September welcome party for the Netivot family.
- Weekly hot lunches.
- Rosh Chodesh celebrations.
- After-School program
- Chanukah party for the Netivot family.
- Chanukah gifts for teachers.
- Tu B'Shvat fruit platter for teachers.
- Pre-Pesach pizza lunch.
- Yom Ha'atzmaut Celebration
- End-of-year gifts for teachers
Officers
Typically, this is where we would list the president, treasurer, secretary, etc.
We are not a typical parents organization. Yes, we have people with the above named titles, but really all parents are responsible for the continuation of a viable parents network.
Unlike most organizations, you do not pay dues to become a member of the Parents Network at Netivot. You are a member by virtue of the fact that you are a parent in this school. We look mostly for volunteers, not money.
